1.  Order Cancellation

1.1  Eligibility for Cancellation

You may request cancellation of an order before it has been dispatched from Vatsalya’s facility.

1.2  Non-Cancellable Orders

Orders cannot be cancelled once the product has been:

  • Packed,
  • Dispatched, or
  • Marked as “Out for Delivery.”

Due to the perishable nature of our milk and dairy products, no exceptions will be made.

1.3  How to Request Cancellation

All cancellation requests must be made through Vatsalya’s official support channels. Acceptance is subject to confirmation by Vatsalya.

2.  Refund Eligibility

Refunds will be considered only under the following circumstances:

2.1  Eligible Scenarios

  • Payment was completed but the order was not delivered due to reasons attributable to Vatsalya.
  • A cancellation request was approved before dispatch.
  • The received product was incorrect or defective, reported within 2 hours of delivery, with supporting photo/video evidence.

 

2.2  Non-Eligible Scenarios

Refunds will not be issued for:

  • Failure to receive the product after delivery attempt.
  • Issues based on natural variations in fresh milk (taste, color, cream layer, texture).
  • Cancellation after packing or dispatch.
  • Product spoilage due to delays in receiving or improper handling by the customer.

3.  Refund Process

3.1  Method of Refund

Refunds will be processed manually via:

  • Bank Transfer, or
  • UPI Transfer as provided by the customer.

3.2  Timeline

Once approved, refunds will be initiated by Vatsalya within 3–5 working days.

 Vatsalya is not responsible for delays caused by incorrect bank or UPI information provided by the customer.

3.3  Confirmation

A confirmation message will be shared upon successful initiation of the refund.

4.  Replacement Policy

4.1  When Replacement is Applicable

Customers may request a replacement instead of a refund in cases where:

  • Packaging is found damaged or tampered
  • Wrong product was delivered
  • Verified quality concerns exist

4.2  Replacement Timeline

Replacements will be delivered in the next available delivery cycle, based on product availability.

4.3  Inspection Rights

Vatsalya reserves the right to request evidence and approve or deny replacement requests in accordance with internal quality guidelines.
